Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to Celemi
Celemi is undergoing an exciting transformation as we move from providing clients with event-based learning experiences to blended journeys of learning that extend over time and make much greater use of technology. At the same time we are working on integrating our international organization with offices in the US, Europe and Asia as One Celemi, again leveraging technology for more efficient collaboration and information sharing.
To make this transformation possible we need an IT-experienced individual to join our team to support and drive the digitalization of Celemi’s product portfolio and internal processes to enable more efficient collaboration between regions as well as with partners and suppliers.
Your work assignments
As CTO you will be responsible for the Celemi digitalization process and provide innovative input for leveraging technology. You will drive and lead various projects involving IT components. Part of your work will be to build relationships and negotiate with different vendors. You will actively participate in our innovation process where you will provide us with valuable insight for future business initiatives and decisions. To ensure that the collaboration between IT, sales and customers is efficient you will regularly be part of the sales calls and proactively support the sales team. One of the important outcome of your work will be to drive the increased usage of digital solutions and support efficient processes by increasing the amount of integration between system solutions.
You will have direct reports and be able to build your own team. You will report directly to the CEO.
To be the CTO that we seek, we believe that you should have at least 10 years of experience working in this field and at least 5 years of them working as a CTO or similar. You should have a relevant education and it is an advantage if you have experience of driving projects.
It is important that you communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing and have at least a working knowledge of Swedish.
Your personal qualities
We are looking for someone who is driven, has a structured working-style and a genuine interest in IT. You should have excellent leadership skills that encourage people to grow and perform to the best of their abilities. It is important to have good interpersonal skills, to be able to listen to customer input and to be able to explain your thinking to both technicians and management. For the role, it is also important that you are self-motivated, social and communicative.
