About Group IT;
We create shareholder value with IT in three key aspects: innovating the business model, enabling business transformation and running business processes. We do this through four service portfolios: Development of Services, Application services, Operations services and Engagement and Governance. About Service Development;
Service Development is the development function in the Group IT organization, responsible for solution development as well as solution enhancement, management and maintenance, and solution architecture. We build and develop strategic competencies in Solution Competence Centers (SCC) – ERP, BI, Custom Solutions and Other Standard Solutions.

The role
Would you like to be a part of building and establish the PMO office, as well as drive and support selected Group IT projects to deliver on time, quality and cost, as committed? If yes – apply for a new role as IT Project Manager at the PMO office – at Swedish Match Headquarters in Stockholm.

Your tasks

  • Lead our projects throughout the full project life cycle, from design to development, test and launch
  • Lead and support everyone involved from relevant stakeholders to achieve project objectives on time, quality and cost
  • Cooperation with exernal suppliers and vendors; leading vendor´s project manager
  • Manage steering committee, customer, user and Group IT stakeholders, incl. communications, relationships & expectations
  • Maneuvering the project through its context, encompassing e.g. conflicting priorities or objectives, dependencies and events
  • Planning, monitoring and controlling all aspects of a project
  • Provide continuous contribution to enhance and strengthen Group IT´s PMO
Your background
To succeed in this role you have more than several years of exstensive ITproject Management experience, e.g. in different, various size IT implementations projects as well as solution development processes. You have a solid experience with project management tools and methods. You have a broad knowledge of the IT industry in general with a solid understanding of requirement analysis and solution testing. You have sound experience in working with vendor management with proven negotiation skills.

Furthermore it is of great importance that you are independent and self driven with strong leadership skills. As well you hold the ability to establish a trust and lead and get teams to collaborate with a great result. You are adept at getting your message across.

You hold a degree in the field of IT management, engineering, economics or business administration or equivalent training.

Fluent proficiency in oral and written English and Swedish is a requirement for the position. Willingness to travel is required

Qualifying but not mandatory is experience in working in a global environment and team set up as well as a certification PMP/PMI or equivalent
