ADB SAFEGATE is currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for Technical Solutions support within the Airport environment with focus on gate operations.

As Technical Sales Engineer, you will get the opportunity to be operative in sales projects. You will be part of the System Engineering department who is responsible for the quality of project deliverables of all technical project tasks and assignments in Projects. When assigned to a sales activity the Technical Sales Engineer is responsible to the Sale/Bid Manager who has the ultimate responsibility for sales activity.

You will belong to the global operational System Engineering GATE team in Malmö where we are a strong team of engaged and open-minded members. As we are working globally, this position may include approx, 30-50 travel days per year around the globe.

Job Description
As a Technical Sales Engineer you will get the opportunity to be responsible for supporting and working closely with the Sales department.

The role is varied and you will be accountable for tasks and assignments such as;

  • Support for technical specifications as part of the Sales process
  • Interface specifications towards external system
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Preparing System descriptions and other relevant documentation
  • Customer & Site visits
  • Liaising with other members of Sales and other technical experts such as Product Manager(s), System Engineers and developers
  • Cost calculations
  • Support to the global sales organization
  • Support to the project team as part of the handover process
  • Supporting marketing/sales by attending exhibitions, conferences and other marketing activities
  • Preparing Technical presentations and demonstrating GATE solutions
Preferable you hold a bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science or System Engineering. We believe you have 1-2 years of working experience but are also interested in you who recently graduated if you have the right engagement and interest to learn to know the area. To handle the position as Technical Sales Engineer you need to have skills in system architecture, system integration, software engineering and system design. You have good knowledge of Operative systems and design.

Meritorious is experience of customer sales work and knowledge in computer networks. Experience of technical project management is considered an advantage.

It is a requirement that you speak and write English fluently and it is also advantageous if you speak Swedish and/or additional language.
